ELECTRICAL
If it is one specialty I have, it is making a space more user friendly. While I can surely install or replace bathroom fans, light switches, pendants, outlets, and ceiling fans, I also enjoy improving a space by adding LED or motion sensor lighting where it may fit. Having motion sensor lights in the laundry room for example, is nice when your arms are full of laundry and you don’t have to worry about the light switch because it will auto turn on/off. Let me help improve your home and make it more user friendly... and environmentally friendly!
MECHANICAL RELATED
Cassette style door locks, complicated moving mechanical joints, or an automatic closing chicken coop door cylinder. As a Mechanical engineer, I‘m in tune with these intricate numbers and visualizing what needs to happen while deciphering why something does not work. Visualizing how something moves and operates before it happens is important and can eliminate many ideas to truly identify what the end goal should be.
CARPENTRY
ONE-OFF WOOD
This client had an idea for her bathroom counter top. She sourced a mill cut slab of black walnut, then hired me to form the table top around the toilet lid while adding a natural looking “live edge” that was both realistic and sanitary. I sanded the slab, sealing it with a matte sealer, leveled the vessel sink bowl and installing the faucet. Part of the slab was salvaged to add to the bottom as a storage shelf.

This pair of slim profile, custom height end tables are a perfect fit for any indoor or outdoor space! Plumbing pipe is strong, versatile, durable, and when combined with wood, can add earthy elements to any space. These were painted, distressed, and seale—up to keep the weather out. From asimple staining to distressed painting, and finish can be done to fit the space.
FRAMING, SHEETROCK DAMAGE/REPAIR, & TRIM WORK
Framing new stairs, repairing a few deck boards, leveling a bedroom floor, installing crown and baseboard molding, or repairing sheetrock damage from a busted water pipe, I've seen and done a lot of it. Renters, businesses, and home owners want a project done correct and efficiently in as few visits as possible, that is what our goal is when it comes to repairs.
